The ActiveAid BCB
The contoured seat features a cut-out that can be ordered with front, rear, or side opening and are available with molded foam or gel options. A solid seat is available for showering when bathing is the primary use. Independent, height-adjustable chair and bench legs help maintain a level seating surface in the shower or when bridging a tub ledge. With configurable seating, armrests, backs, patient positioning, and transfer bench options, the BCB adapts seamlessly to a wide range of user needs and bathroom layouts.
Configure Seating for Transfer and Access Preferences
The BCB is a modular system allowing users and clinicians to consider both access and transfer management when configuring the bench for bathing, toileting, or both. With molded foam, gel, and solid seating options, the BCB can be tailored specifically for commode or bathing use, but is equally capable when configured for both.

Choose your platform from five transfer bench options. Add a narrow or wide extender with a tub supported feature, or height adjustable legs with crutch tips or suction cups for additional stability

The BCB offers height adjustable flip-up armrests and 2-point locking armrests that can be mixed and matched to suit your stability, positioning and transfer preferences.Â
Removable Pan for Bedside Use
The BCB accommodates both a commode pan system to support bedside use and over-toilet use. The BCB can be ordered with a removable, low-splash design pan when over-toilet use is not indicated.
Handles
When ordered with a solid foam back the BCB can be fitted with fixed handles or fold-down handles to provide additional points of contact for stability, balance, or transfers. If no handles are selected, back canes are capped. A horizontal rear crossbar is included to stabilize the back canes if ordered with a Sling Back
Belts & Positioning
Positioning belts are available for additional waist and trunk support.
Base Stability
- Crutch-tip legs, suction cup legs, or mixed configurations available
- Suction cups provide added grip on smooth, non-porous surfaces
- Chair and Bench legs are independently height adjustable to accommodate some uneven surfaces while maintaining a level support surface
